Clatter Valley Falls
Town Farm Brook wanders from its woodland cradle in the south of New Milford, its waters primed to descend a 200-foot escarpment as a tumultuous chain of waterfalls and cascades before landing in the relative serenity of Clatter Valley.
Owing to the fact that Town Farm Brook briefly serves as the border between New Milford and Bridgewater, Clatter Valley Falls is one of the few waterfalls in Connecticut which can be claimed by two towns. In “Brink of Clatter Valley”, the forests of Bridgewater climb from the gorge on the right, while the mossy rock faces to the left fall within New Milford.
