Center Springs Falls
Born of springs which issue forth from the earth in the busy heart of Manchester, Bigelow Brook tumbles through shady groves in a century-old city park on its journey toward the Hockanum River.
Long before the Connecticut Colony settlers arrived in the 17th century, Podunk tribesmen had been frequenting this spot on Bigelow Brook for countless generations to capture lamprey eels struggling against the cascades to spawn further upstream.
